Logistics Firm Expands Into Houston

HOUSTON-A Sacramento, CA-based global shipping and logistics concern has opened its first Houston operation in a 21,700-sf leased spot at West by Northwest Industrial Center.

HOUSTON-Freight Solutions Providers, a $44 million global shipping and logistics company, expanded into Houston with a 21,700-sf lease in the West by Northwest Industrial Center. Financial details of the lease were not released, however the asking rate at the property is about 50 cents per sf gross.

The Sacramento, CA-based firm moved into a medium-term lease, Bill Ginder with Houston’s Caldwell Watson Real Estate Group tells GlobeSt.com. Ginder represented the tenant in the lease negotiations. Art Barkley was the internal representative for the building owner, ProLogis. The space is within the 129,600-sf building at 6605 Roxburgh Dr. in the northwest industrial distribution corridor.
