Known as La Costa Fairways, the newly purchased property is located at 2328-2830 La Costa Ave. within the La Costa Golf Course. The golf course is part of the La Costa Resort and Spa, which also features another golf course, 21 tennis courts, 473 guest rooms and a full-service spa. KSL Recreation Corp. owns La Costa Resort and Spa, which it procured from La Costa Corp. at the end of 2001 for $120 million.
The recently acquired La Costa Fairways parcel "was attractive to the buyer because of its tentative map for 10 luxurious condominiums and great location," says Jim Taylor of Sperry Van Ness.
Taylor, along with Sperry Van Ness colleague David Harrison, acted on behalf of Asset Growth Properties. The duo also represented the seller, SCI Cos.
