Previously, he was an associate with LJ Melody & Co., a CB Richard Ellis Co. based in Houston. During his three-year tenure, he has been involved in more than 30 transactions that total more than $700 million in debt, mezzanine and equity capital investments. Sheehan has focused on the residential sector and has completed many condominium conversions, large tract developments, condo developments and rental deals, mostly in the southeastern US.

Before joiningMelody, Sheehan worked for a private real estate company in the city within the capital markets department, where he formulated in-house property valuations, structured acquisition deals and arranged finance for large commercial real estate projects. He is a member of the Mortgage Bankers Association, is a licensed mortgage broker and real estate salesperson in Florida, and was named Melody's 2002 National Rookie of the Year.
