Sperry Van Ness Secures Seattle-Area Affiliate

BELLEVUE, WA-The investment brokerage firm taps local broker Norman Olsen to be the firm's first Seattle-area affiliate. He specializes in retail and light industrial properties and will work out of his existing office at Regency Group Commercial Realtors Inc.

BELLEVUE, WA-Sperry Van Ness has added an affiliate for the Seattle area. The Irvine, CA-based commercial real estate investment services firm has tapped local broker Norman Olsen to be the firm’s Seattle-area affiliate specializing in retail and light industrial properties.

Olsen tells GlobeSt.com he will keep his desk at Regency Group Commercial Realtors Inc. in Bellevue, a brokerage firm formed by several brokers who wanted to share expenses and keep their own commissions. Seperate Sperry Van Ness signage will be added to the space to let people know the two firms are co-tenanting the space, he says.

Under company president David Frosh, Sperry Van Ness over the past two years has grown from having affiliations in nine regions to having them in more than 70 regions. Larry Thompson, regional director for Sperry Van Ness, is responsible for the company’s growth in the Northwest.
