Harkins says the renewal is for a medium term. No lease terms were released, but asking rates at the property are $21 per sf. The building is currently 94% occupied and, according to Harkins, has engineering and architectural consulting firm, Lockwood, Andrews & Newman Inc. as one of its anchor tenants.
Gregg Raymond with Commercial Dynamics Inc. represented the tenant. Harkins says Van De Wiele needed to expand its space to accommodate growing operations. The building had available, empty space next door so the expansion was relatively seamless, he adds. Van De Wiele has already moved into its expansion space.
