The indoor Roberts Sports Arena at 5775 Ann Arbor Road near I-94 and Sargent Road has been for sale for several weeks, according to owners Steve and Chris Roberts.
The Roberts are continuing to operate the facility as it is for sale. Last winter, about 40 soccer, flag football and in-line skating leagues used the 25,000-sf facility.
Steve Roberts, a professional iron worker, built the 25,000-sf arena, which opened in March 2001, chasing a life-long dream. Operating the facility, however, was more than the couple could handle, so they are seeking new owners.
