Service Center Space Attracts Office User

HOUSTON-The low rents in service center space, relative to that of standard office space, have attracted and retained a standard office user. A real estate data company has signed a five-year 6,050-sf lease for space in the Legacy Park Business Center.

HOUSTON-Seeking rent savings, a local office user has elected to relocate to service center space with 100% office finish in northwest Houston.

First American Real Estate Solutions, an Anaheim, CA-based provider of real estate-focused public record information, analytics and services has leased 6,050 sf at Legacy Park Business Center at 10920 West Sam Houston Parkway in northwest Houston. The firm has signed a five-year lease at the property and will move in at the middle of this month, Mark Lehman with the Houston office of Grubb & Ellis Co. tells GlobeSt.com.

Lehman represented the tenant in the lease negotiations. He says the firm is moving from office space near the CBD. Lehman says his client considered several traditional office options, but was attracted to service center space with a 100% office finish because of the lower prices.
