Coppins Bridge is a three year old scheme anchored by an 11 screen Cineworld multiplex, supported by Pizza Hut and Chicago Rock Café restaurants, a KFC Drive-Thru, and 297 car parking spaces. Additionally there are two large retail units, one of them let to Staples office supplies. The other, formerly occupied by B&Q, is currently vacant.
AXA Sun Life Plc has appointed Nelson Bakewell as managing agent. Stuart Adams of Nelson Bakewell said: "Coppins Bridge is an attractive investment for our client, being the dominant Leisure/Retail Park on the Isle of Wight with good prominence in Newport and a strong tenant line-up. The tenants are all national multiples, and it will be interesting to see if the one vacant unit lets to a similar such concern".
