Hedberg was cited by the organization as representing the best of his profession. Hedberg and Phil Simonet founded Paramount in 1996. Hedberg was working for Welsh Cos. at the time.

Hedberg, who has more than 20 years of experience in commercial real estate, has been involved in land sales and the development of business parks and buildings throughout the Twin Cities.

After graduating from Luther College in Iowa, Hedberg was hired by Arthur Anderson & Company as an accountant and then joined his family's business, Hedberg & Sons Co., as a VP. In 1983, he joined Welsh, focusing on the sale and leasing of office and industrial land and properties.

The resident of Eden Prairie, MN, is a member of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties, the Minneapolis Board of Realtors and the Organization of Commercial Realtors. In 1993, he earned the designation of Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) from the Commercial Investment Real Estate Institute.
