Lavin, Coleman Relocates to 45,000 SF at Independence Mall West

PHILADELPHIA-One of the city's largest law firms moves to the American College of Physicians' building at 190 North Independence Mall West. Brokers estimate the price is between $20 and $23 per sf.

PHILADELPHIA-Lavin, Coleman, O’Neil, Ricci, Finarelli & Gray, based here, inks a lease for 45,000 sf at the American College of Physicians building in Center City at 190 North Independence Mall West. The law firm is currently headquartered at 501 Walnut St., which is south of the new location, but in the same submarket.

Terms of the new lease are undisclosed. Area brokers tell GlobeSt.com that the average asking rate for class A office space in the Independence Square submarket ranges between approximately $20 and $23.50 per sf.

Lavin, Coleman is among the largest law firms in the city. According to the firm’s website, it has approximately 60 attorneys in three locations, which include its headquarters here along with offices in New York and Mt. Laurel, NJ.
