Signing a medium-term lease, X-MED Oxygen & Medical Equipment Inc. immediately moved into Commerce Center Southwest at 9000 Southwest Freeway. Darren O'Conor of Henry S. Miller Commercial's Houston office tells GlobeSt.com that the search for the space was speedy, going full circle in less than 30 days.

The firm's executives were impressed with the park's accessibility to freeways and other major transportation arteries. The 15,840-sf building, where the asking rate is 65 cents per sf, is one of 12 in a multi-tenant industrial park owned by AIP-SWAG Operating Partnership, a Delaware LP.

O'Conor partnered with Henry S. Miller's Doug Bates to represent the tenant in selecting the site for its expansion into Houston. Cory Driscoll in the Houston office of the Trammell Crow Co. negotiated the terms on the building owner's behalf.
