The firm plans to relocate to this building from Boca Raton, where it is leasing space, and gain an ownership position. The buyer needed a building that had a secured yard--which is difficult to find--so the company decided to erect its own building, according to Jeffrey Scott, the broker in the sale. Scott, senior vice president of brokerage for Brenner Real Estate Group, based in Fort Lauderdale, represented both Lanaco IV Inc./Burnham Inc., and Robert Charles & Associates in the transaction.
