LANDOVER, MD-Boulevard at Capital Centre has made its official debut with a recent grand-opening ceremony to welcome the nearly 500,000-sf entertainment and retail center. A redevelopment project of Prince George’s County and Baltimore-based developer the Cordish Co., the $85-million mixed-used development has given new life to the 55-acre parcel off I-495 that was once home to the US Airways Arena sports and entertainment complex. “This opening signifies yet another positive step Prince George’s county is taking in the realm of economic development,” county executive Jack B. Johnson notes.
Designed by architectural firm Brown & Craig Inc. the “main-street” style Boulevard at Capital Centre is 95% occupied by a bevy of top-name tenants.
