The park, located across from the Lansing Sheraton Hotel and off I-495 at the Creyts Road exit is in nearby Delta Township. The interchange has been a popular business hub for many years, as demonstrated by the success of the Verndale Office Parks and Capitol Commerce Center, located nearby.
The Municipal Employees' Retirement System of Michiganrelocated its corporate headquarters to a new 40,000-sf facility within the MERS Corporate Center last year, with seven condominium units remaining availablefor sale or build to suit, ranging in size from 1.5 to 10-acres.
Van W. Martin, president of CBRE/Martin, is directing marketing efforts for the project, and is confident of what the future will hold for MERS.
"Greater Lansing's West sub-market has consistently attracted and retained quality office users. This park's immediate access to I-496, coupled with itswooded setting, will make MERS Corporate Center a coveted business address for years to come," said Martin.
Anne Wagner, CEO of MERS, shares Martin's enthusiasm. "I have confidence both in the future of this office park, and in our relationship with the professionals at CBRE," she said.
