At Rouse Co.'s 1.4-million-sf Perimeter Mall in north Fulton County, the Little Rock, AR-based retailer will be erecting a 200,000-sf store at the former JCPenney site which has been vacant for several years.

At Atlanta Station, the $1-billion redevelopment in Midtown, Dillard's plans a 225,000-sf store. Area retail brokers familiar with both projects tell GlobeSt.com the Perimeter Mall store expects to open no later than year end 2004. The Atlanta Station store is tentatively set to open by fall 2004.

When the two stores are built, Dillard's will have six metro area locations totaling an estimated 1.3 million sf, area construction industry estimators tell GlobeSt.com.
