The complex, which stands at 5025 Comanche Dr., houses a total of 10 three-bedroom, two-and-a-half bath units that rent for $1,395 per month, according to Craig Rubin of Rubin & Associates, who worked on the deal. Built in 1986, the property is a two-story, wood-frame and stucco building with a pitched roof and 10 one-car garages.
Robin Briones, trustee of the Robin Lynn Briones Living Trust, has acquired Casa Comanche from sellers Daniel Romano and Greg Romano for $1.7 million. Allen Chitayat of ACI Commercial acted on behalf of the sellers, while Rubin represented the buyer.
"This is one of the highest prices per unit for a non condo-mapped property in La Mesa," says Rubin, commenting on the deal. "There is an incredible demand for apartment by investors right now and a limited supply of inventory," he tells GlobeSt.com.
