The financing was arranged by LJ Melody & Co., a national real estate investment banking firm. The 73,000-sf grocery store at 8015 Den Rd. was built in this southwestern suburb of the Minneapolis/St. Paul metropolitan area in 1992.
Doug Seylar of LJ Melody's Minneapolis office secured the funds on behalf of Jerry's Enterprises Inc., a franchisee of Cub Foods in the Twin Cities. Principal Real Estate Investors provided the funds.
Cub Foods is a chain owned by SuperValu, a grocery retailer and wholesaler, based here in Eden Prairie.
Houston-based LJ Melody, a CB Richard Ellis company, is one of the largest real estate investment banking firms in the US.
