Gehrke will serve the business financing needs of St. Paul Port Authority customers. To that end, the Port offers a variety of financing products to help expansion-minded businesses.

The Port, for example, can issue Tax-Exempt Industrial Development Bonds, which offer manufacturers below market rate financing for the purchase of fixed assets.

The Port's Working Capital and Equipment Loan Guaranty program enhances a customer's borrowing power. And the Port's Business Development Financing program assists manufacturers in purchasing or renovating real estate and equipment.

Gehrke, a graduate of Macalester College, is skilled in financial analysis and has an understanding of the business process and cash cycle.
