Willow Wood Holds on to Tech Tenant

FAIRFAX, VA-Willow Wood Plaza II, a 125,000-sf office structure attached to a sister building of the same size, has won the loyalty of tenant Tetra Tech Inc., as is evidenced by the company’s expansion and renewal of space under an approximately six-year commitment. The consulting, engineering and technical services provider extended the lease on its 36,000-sf digs and took on an additional 5,000 sf for expansion purposes.

Located near the intersection of Lee Hwy. and Chain Bridge Rd., the two-building 250,000-sf Willow Wood Plaza property was developed 15 years ago and rises five stories high. Space in the class A office structures, which are presently 83% occupied, goes for $24 per sf. Tom Cresce and Zach Wade of real estate services firm Trammell Crow represented property owner KBS Realty Advisors in the transaction, while Transwestern Commercial Service’s Ed Clark and Steve Hoffeditz stood in for the Pasadena, CA-headquartered Tetra Tech.
