Houlihan-Parnes/iCap Affiliate Buys Bedford Playhouse

BEDFORD, NY-An affiliate of Houlihan-Parnes/iCap Realty Advisors LLC acquired the Bedford Playhouse property. The 42,000-sf site includes a two-screen movie theater, retail and restaurant space and 25 rental apartment units.

BEDFORD, NY-The storied Bedford Playhouse property here has been purchased by an affiliate of Houlihan-Parnes/iCap Realty Advisors of White Plains. Officials with Houlihan-Parnes/iCap Realty Advisors, who announced the deal, say the purchase includes the five-story Bedford Playhouse building which features a two-screen movie theater operated by Clearview Cinemas, retail and restaurant space and 25 rental apartments.

The buyer is a partnership consisting of the key principals of Houlihan-Parnes/iCap Realty Advisors of White Plains and some of its affiliates. The seller was Bedford Village Playhouse Associates. No purchase price for the property was disclosed.

James J. Houlihan, principal of Houlihan-Parnes/iCap Realty Advisors, says the property sits on a 3.2-acre site, which includes an open, grassy one-acre open parcel that is known by locals as “the Great Lawn.”
