Linda B. Philp, vice president and treasurer, becomes vice president and chief accounting officer but will continue to serve as the company's treasurer. Deborah N. Ethridge, vice president of strategic planning, changes tasks as vice president of finance and investor relations.

Prior to joining Lodgian, Philp was an independent consultant to the company during its Chapter 11 restructuring. She is a former director of finance for the Campbell Sales Co. (Campbell Soup); a division finance manager for Pizza Hut; and held strategic planning, logistics and marketing positions at Kraft General Foods.

Philp holds an MBA with a major in finance, and a BBA with majors in accounting and finance from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She is a certified public accountant in California.

Ethridge was with InterContinental Hotels Group prior to joining Lodgian. She held numerous management positions at InterContinental and was manager of business planning and strategic services when she left the company.

Ethridge has an MBA with a major in finance from Emory University and a BBA in accounting from Georgia State University. She is a CPA and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Georgia Society of Certified Public Acccountants.
