TEST Lodgian Promotes Philp and Ethridge

ATLANTA-Lodgian Inc. has promoted two seasoned hospitality industry professionals as it moves into a more aggressive marketing stance for 2004.

Linda B. Philp, vice president and treasurer, becomes vice president and chief accounting officer but will continue to serve as the company’s treasurer. Deborah N. Ethridge, vice president of strategic planning, changes tasks as vice president of finance and investor relations.

Prior to joining Lodgian, Philp was an independent consultant to the company during its Chapter 11 restructuring. She is a former director of finance for the Campbell Sales Co. (Campbell Soup); a division finance manager for Pizza Hut; and held strategic planning, logistics and marketing positions at Kraft General Foods.
