Occupying a five-acre parcel on Metro Plaza, Potomac Mills Home and Auto is a neighborhood shopping center that is currently leased to maximum capacity by tenants such as Habitat Furniture, which occupies a 12,500-sf space. "Although this is an unanchored strip retail center, its proximity to Potomac Mills Mall made this an attractive property," GMACCM vice president John C. Richards explains. "Because the retail center is directly across the street from Potomac Mills Mall, we viewed it almost as a 'shadow'-anchored center."
