Marshalls will join Roche Bros. Supermarket as anchor tenants of this new lifestyle retail development in upper Cape Cod. South Cape Village will feature pedestrian pathways surrounding landscaped village squares. Construction of the development began in August and its tenants will include national, regional and local retailers as well as restaurants.
According to Mace, the additional 89,000 sf available for lease in the development is spread among eight buildings. He says that leasing activity has been "very positive" and a number of new tenants will be announced shortly.
"Marshalls and Roche Bros. will position South Cape Village as a dominant shopping center on the Cape," adds Mace. Roche Bros. is expected to open in May of 2004 and Marshalls is scheduled for that fall.
