Part of her new assignment is to oversee the merchandising and leasing of Ocean Heights Shopping Center, a new 180,734-sf ground-up retail development in Somers Point, NJ, just outside Atlantic City. It is anchored by an 80,700-sf Super ShopRite supermarket.
Berlin brings 15 years of shopping center leasing experience to her post at Kramont. She previously held leasing positions with Columbus, OH-based Glimcher Development; Arlington, VA-based Mills Corp., and the PREIT-Rubin affiliate of Pennsylvania Real Estate Investment Trust, which is based in Philadelphia.
Kramont owns, operates, manages and has under development 94 properties encompassing approximately 12.2 million sf in 15 states. It specializes in neighborhood and community shopping centers, and nearly 80% of its centers are anchored by grocery, drug or chain discount stores.
