Parochial Schools Expand with $4M Upgrade

WARREN, MI-The Ukrainian Catholic Church parochial schools here have expanded the physical plant of their local grade and high schools with a $4 million investment.

WARREN, MI-A $4 million addition to the Immaculate Conception Ukrainian Catholic Grade and High schools in Warren will be dedicated this weekend.

The addition includes a full-size gymnasium for all 12-grade levels capable of being used for full-fledged high school sports, and four classrooms dedicated specifically to middle school use.

On a 17-acre campus in a residential neighborhood northeast of 12 Mile Road and Dequindre in Warren, the schools have an athletic complex and a building with libraries, a chapel, and the previous, small gymnasium, which will now be used as a cafeteria and auditorium. The 35,000-sf addition includes locker rooms and facilities for staff in connection with the large new gymnasium, a major lobby area for community events and the new classrooms. Total building space is now 92,000 sf.
