The business is leaving about 3,500 sf at 12491 North Freeway, where it's been a tenant for 14 years. Rita Prakash with AVM International of Houston, tells GlobeSt.com that Oxyde Chemicals wanted to transition into owned space that they designed.

The new single-story building with class A finishing sits on a 3.5-acre tract, part of which is reserved for future growth, says Prakash. Oxyde's plan is to put about 4,300 sf up for lease and occupy the balance. Bobbie Bozarth of Axis Property Advisors in Houston was awarded the leasing assignment. The building's quoted rate is $18 per sf.
