Mesaba Aviation Moves HQ to Spectrum

EAGAN, MN-About 150 employees will move to the 33,700-sf space in a project built from a recycled parking ramp. The project involved a $1.2 million builtout.

EAGAN, MN-Mesaba Aviation recently moved its headquarters to a 33,700 sf space at Spectrum Commerce Center, a 300,000-sf office flex project built from the reuse parts of an old parking ramp just off Minnesota 55 and Blue Gentian Road.

About 150 Mesaba employees moved to the new facility, which houses the airline’s management and administrative staff, human resources, finance, accounting and IS departments, and its System Operations Control. Keewaydin Real Estate Advisors of Minneapolis provided site selection, lease negotiation, financial analysis and is currently providing project management services.

Mesaba spent $1.2 million to finish off a interior construction project, creating office space for its corporate headquarters at 1000 Blue Gentian Road. The company’s previous headquarters was in the path of a new north-south runway being build at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport.
