Steve Horne, Director of Distribution at Wickes, saidd: "As part of our ongoing expansion plans we sought a distribution facility, preferably in the northern M25 region, capable of sustaining our growing business and Maximate provided us with an existing available opportunity."
Robert Hall, Director at sole letting agents DTZ Debenham Tie Leung, said the letting represents one of the most significant industrial property deals in the south east in 2003. "It is symbolic of the re-emerging occupier interest within the warehousing distribution sector which had been relatively quiet in the last 12 months," he said.
DTZ Debenham Tie Leung advised CIS and Wickes was advised by The Lloyd Fraser Group.
