The company recently acquired about two acres at 2222 Woodlands Parkway. The three-story office building, carrying a June 2005 delivery, will replace leased space in Lexington as well as 4 Greenway Plaza in Houston, Dan Leverett, vice president of the commercial division for the Woodlands Operating Co. LP, tells GlobeSt.com. Century plans to occupy the upper two stories and put the ground-level floor up for lease.
An independent broker, Danny L. Allen, negotiated for Century Exploration, which holds onshore and offshore operating interests in Louisiana, Texas, Mississippi, the Gulf Coast and the North Sea. Greg Jordan, Woodlands' consultant, represented the operating company, which has been selling land for $8.72 per sf.
