MacFarlane to Open San Diego Office

CORONADO, CA-San Francisco-based real estate investment manager MacFarlane Partners is gearing up to open a branch in Coronado this upcoming January, having recently tapped real estate veteran David Dressler to head up the new office.

CORONADO, CA-In a move to grow its Southland presence, San Francisco-based real estate investment manager MacFarlane Partners is establishing a new branch in Coronado.

The office, which is slated to open in January, will be headed up by real estate veteran David Dressler. With 25 years of experience in the residential and community development sectors of the commercial real estate industry, Dressler is joining MacFarlane Partners as a principal with responsibility for the firm’s investment and development activities in Southern California. His new duties will entail sourcing, negotiating and underwriting prospective investments in the Southland, as well as overseeing the construction process of properties under development here. Dressler’s previous career experience includes serving as managing director with the real estate investment firm Security Capital Group, acting as co-chairman and president of Homestead Village Inc., and working as a regional partner for Trammell Crow Residential Co. Additional posts include director of residential development for Arvida Corp. and vice president with Gulfstream Land and Development.
