Altima International Properties will serve West Palm Beach and the nearby area. The firm will offer services such as assisting with land acquisition for development, identifying market demand, advising on all the phases of development planning, and marketing and selling projects.
The joint venture is a move to benefit from Palm Beach County's rapidly growing developer base, particularly in Downtown West Palm Beach and nearby areas, as developers are building luxury condominium projects, residential communities and other real estate projects. "West Palm Beach is truly experiencing a gold rush, with that gold being land that is becoming scarcer by the day," Maribel Alvarez, president of Altima International Inc., says in a statement. "Developers looking to make inroads into local markets are continually requesting that we assist more and more in the whole development process, so it makes sense to bring everything under one roof to service all of their needs."
Deborah Beriro, founder of the West Palm Beach-based brokerage firm Citi Properties, will be president and a licensed real estate broker for Altima International Properties. She brokered the land for the Slade, a luxury, waterfront condominium project being built on North Flagler Drive, the Moorings at Lantana and Flagler Landing, adjacent to Rybovich Spencer.
In addition, Robert Kemp has been named real estate sales director of Altima International Properties. His 13-year real estate career includes experience in single-family, multifamily, commercial and pre-construction sales. Kemp comes from the Symphony, a 338-unit, luxury condominium project in Fort Lauderdale. Previously, he worked for the brokerage firms Earl Hollis Real Estate and Barclays International, and Divosta Homes.
Altima also hired Anne Kazel-Wilcox of Gold Coast Communications as its media director to help developer clients with media strategies, media placements, advertising and other communications needs. Kazel-Wilcox's real estate public relations clients have included Related Capital Co., a national apartment owner; locally based Swerdlow Group, a commercial developer; Aetna Realty; Credit Suisse First Boston; and Freddie Mac.
Altima International Properties has a branch office in downtown West Palm Beach and an affiliate office in Miami.
