Work Starts on 100,000-SF Candy Distribution Center

JAMES CITY COUNTY, VA- A significant step has been taken toward the realization of a planned 100,000-sf distribution center to be occupied by Wythe-Will Distributing Inc. Developer Liberty Property Trust has broken ground on the facility, which will sit on 15 acres in the 220-acre Stonehouse Commerce Park. Wythe-Will currently calls Lightfoot, VA, home, but expects to relocate to its new build-to-suit digs in July 2004.

Real estate services firm Thalhimer/Cushman & Wakefield led the way on the lease negotiations for Wythe-Will, the terms of which have not been released. Including the nearly $1-million price tag for acquiring the land, the facility will cost a total of $6.5 million to complete.
