Under Jeffrey Howard's direction, the renowned firm will be responsible for the appearance of the public spaces and many model units. "We are working closely with project architects Brosch, Sandoval & Associates and are looking to mirror the elegance and quality of Ritz-Carlton properties," according to Howard. The designers are incorporating a British colonial theme into the lobby, restaurants, pool area, card rooms, banquet rooms and social areas.
The Palace at Weston will be developed on a 24-acre site just west of Weston Road and Emerald Park Circle. The units average 1,500 sf to 1,850 sf each and are priced from $250,000.
Howard Design Group also recently was hired to design the 192-unit, 11-story, two-tower the Atrium at Aventura planned for South Florida's Aventura. The firm has worked on several other projects as well, including the Residence at the Ritz Carlton in Coconut Grove.
