During his tenure with CBRE, Strati negotiated transactions such as a 266,000-sf lease as agent of 315 Park Ave. South with Credit Suisse First Boston, and tenant representation assignments including AWT (200,000 sf), Sithe Energies (195,000 sf), Mitsubishi Trust & Banking Corp. (134,000 sf) and Edelman Public Relations Worldwide (134,000 sf).
JRT, a women-owned commercial real estate that has a strategic alliance partnership with C&W, has made some additions to its firm, as well. Melissa Bazar, who was previously a senior vice president with CB Richard Ellis and senior managing director with Insignia/ESG, and Susan Brustien Macgregor-Scott, formerly of JP Morgan have both signed on.
Bazar has been appointed executive director of JRT. Clients she has represented include Allen & Overy, Computer Associates, Schroders, Pharmacia, Cablevision, and Equitable Life Insurance. Brustien Macgregor-Scott, who will be based in Los Angeles, has been appointed director of business development of JRT. Throughout her career, she has assumed a series of senior positions including the management of Global Corporate Real Estate for both JP Morgan Guaranty Trust and the Chase Manhattan Bank. Additionally, Brustien has been responsible for the acquisition of properties valued at more than $250 million and has closed more than $700 million in property sales. Headquartered in New York, JRT is a member of Concordis Real Estate, a network of minority- and women-owned commercial real estate services firms.
