Demolition Begins on Future Onyx Site

MIAMI-Existing apartments are being torn down, a process that should take about two weeks. The $42-million, 28-story, luxury, waterfront condo project will contain 118 units plus 12 lofts and is being developed by BAP-GGM Developers.

MIAMI-Demolition has begun to make room for Onyx, a $42-million, 28-story luxury condominium development planned for Biscayne Bay. Allied Demolition is tearing down the existing apartment complexes at 720 N.E. 25th St., 721 N.E. 26th St. and 665 N.E. 25th St. The new waterfront project that will sit on these sites will have 118 units.

BAP-GGM Developers, a joint venture between BAP Development and GGM Developers, is developing the project. Luis Latorre, project manager for BAP-GGM Development, says the demolition will take about two weeks.
