The office deal saw Diversified Collections Services Inc. sign an 87-month lease for 24,462-sf at 3333 North Canyons Parkway. The lease transaction totals more than $3 million. The lessor is Reynold's Brown.

Diversified Collection Services is a national repayment service for certain types of State and Federal debt. Currently based in San Leandro, the company will use the Livermore location as its new headquarters.

In the other transaction, Chamberlin Associates, a Pleasanton, CA-based development management and consulting firm, has acquired 14 acres from Vistar Corp. Vistar, a specialty food distributor, has leased back the two buildings on the property for distribution purposes, while Chamberlin plans to develop eight excess acres with retail and industrial buildings.

The overall transaction is valued roughly at $5 million dollars. The buildings Vistar is leasing back total 55,536 sf.

Dave Bruzzone of CM Realtors had a hand in both deals. In the first transaction, he represented the building owner, Reynold's Brown. In the second transaction he represented the buyer, Chamberlin Associates. Colliers was also involved in the transactions. Mark Triska represented Diversified Collections Services and Ned Wood assisting Bruzzone in representing Chamberlin.

Bruzzone was not available for comment on Tuesday. "Livermore continues to be a receiving city for companies who want to have a Bay Area presence but have operations elsewhere in California," says Triska.
