Thompson to Lead BOMA CAL

SAN DIEGO-Cybele Thompson, general manager of PM Realty Group and the former leader of BOMA San Diego, is named to head up BOMA CAL as president of the organization.

SAN DIEGO-The California Building Owners and Managers Association has chosen its new leader for 2004, with active BOMA participant Cybele Thompson being named as president of the organization.

In her former role as president of BOMA San Diego from 2000 to 2002, Thompson led the organization on issues such as defibrillator liability protection, the reduction of energy consumption, and the organization of high-rise evacuation drills. During her tenure, BOMA San Diego won the 2000 BOMA International Government Affairs Program of the Year and the 2002 State of California Flex Your Power Energy Conservation Award.
