The developers received the go-ahead from the Clayton County commission which has approved a special tax district that will pay about $29.5 million in infrastructure improvements, according to the county's planning department.
The developers have told the county they already are negotiating with a supermarket, a theater and two home improvement firms to lease space in the 400-acre project.
