While Hedgewood prepares its rezoning application, another proposed subdivision in Henry County has been rejected after residents fought the development for months. Project True North, co-owned by state Rep. John Lunsford (R-McDonough) and his brother, Joseph Lunsford, sought rezoning on their 97 acres to build 195 townhomes. Residents convinced county commissioners the Lunsford project should be rejected because the proposed lot sizes were too small, area brokers following the controversy tell GlobeSt.com.
