The value and length of the lease were not disclosed. However, based on average rental rates for industrial space in the local submarket of Broward County, even a short-term lease of a couple of years would be worth more than $1 million.
Steven Wasserman, a partner at Colliers International, the exclusive Broward, Miami-Dade and Palm Beach County, FL, owner/member of Colliers International Property Consultants, represented Point Blank Body Armor in the transaction. Peter Sheridan co-brokered the transaction, representing the property owner, Premier Commercial Realty. Wasserman could not comment on details of the transaction, and others involved in the deal could not be reached by deadline.
