Dan Labes, Grubb & Ellis SVP, Industrial Group, who represented both the owner and the tenant, said the site was selected for its substantial size, the quantity of loading docks it offers and its proximity to I-75. Occupancy is expected this month.

Grubb & Ellis also announced the sale of 36.8 acres of land in Sterling Heights to Utica Community Schools. The Sterling Heights property was sold by Kemp & Peyerk-Sterling. Utica Schools, the state's second largest public school district, is consolidating its auxiliary service operation into one site. Grubb & Ellis team members Jack Coury, Senior Vice President, Industrial Group, and Giancarlo Pinterpe, Vice President, Industrial Group, represented both parties in the transaction.
