840,000-SF Going Up at Logistics Center

TRACY, CA-Two build-to-suit distribution facilities totaling 840,000 sf are under construction here at Robert Patillo Properties’ 150-acre Tracy Logistics Center here near Interstates 205 and 5. The Atlanta-based development and investment firm is having the facilities built for Kellogg USA and Prima Products, a manufacturer of vinyl windows. Both users have signed long-term leases.

For Kellogg , a 750,000-sf regional center with 8,000 sf of office space and 30-ft ceilings is being developed on a 35-acre site. Completion of the concrete tilt-up structure is scheduled for April. For Prima Products, a 90,000-sf manufacturing and distribution building with 5,000-sf of office and 24-ft ceilings is being developed on nine acres. The total value of the two buildings is $20 million, according to Darin Lee, project manager for Oltmans Construction Co. of Whittier, CA, the general contractor for the projects.
