Pathfinder LL&D Insurance Group LLC needed to expand so it crafted the new deal with the renewal even though it had two years to go on the pact for 1160 Dairy Ashford Rd. office, Brad Marnitz with NAI Partners Commercial in Houston tells GlobeSt.com. The tenant's broker says the firm has been a building tenant at least five years.
Marnitz says the extra class B space isn't contiguous, but is on the same floor. The agency's executives, he says, opted to negotiate a medium-term lease for the current address rather than shop extensively before signing. The 118,000-sf building's quoted rate is $17 per sf to $18 per sf. Claudia Wolf of BGK Texas Property Management Inc. in Houston represents the building owner, Tomorrow 33 Ashford LP.
