ATLANTA-Atlantic Station, a planned 138-acre, one-million-sf, mixed-use development in Midtown created by developer Jim Jacoby, has snagged another well-known tenant in Burr & Forman, a 98-year-old, locally based law firm.

The firm has signed a 10-year lease for 35,500 sf and plans to move its 70 employees in April from One Georgia Center to the 21-story, 171 17th Street Building located at the base of the newly opened 17th Street Bridge which span Interstates 75 and 85. Atlantic Station LLC officials didn’t disclose the estimated aggregate value of the lease, however, local office brokers, familiar with the $2-billion redevelopment of a former steel mill site, tell GlobeSt.com the rent is at least $30 per sf, giving the lease an estimated value of $10.7 million.
