Earl Nightingale, the new general manager, is a 27-year veteran of Hyatt Hotels & Resorts, where he served in various senior management, sales and marketing and operations positions throughout the U.S. Most recently, he was general manager of the Hyatt Regency Woodfield in Schaumburg, IL, about eight miles from the Chicago's O'Hare International Airport.
Nightingale also has extensive experience in industry and community relations, having served as a board member of numerous hotel and motel associations, convention and visitors associations, and sports commissions.
Fred S. Kummer, president and CEO of St. Louis-based Adam's Mark Hotels & Resorts, announced that all rooms in the Adam's Mark tower building will receive new decor. Some renovation has already begun and the project will continue this year.
"We are excited about this substantial refurbishing program, and delighted that we will retain and continue to operate the Adam's Mark Denver hotel," says Kummer. Last year, rumors were flying that Kummer actively was trying to sell the Adam's Mark.
"Adam's Mark has enjoyed a longstanding commitment to the Denver community, and our entire staff is pleased to renew that strong commitment with a new management team and a major refurbishing program," says Nightingale.
Located downtown on the 16th Street Mall, the hotel has 133,000-sf of flexible meeting space in addition to its 1,225 rooms.
