Scott Steadies the Helm as Peacock Quits JLL

LONDON-Jones Lang LaSalle president and chief executive officer Chris Peacock has quit unexpectedly to "spend more time with his family". Chairman Stuart Scott will take the helm while the search for a successor begins.

LONDON-In a shock move Jones Lang LaSalle’s president and chief executive officer Chris Peacock has quit. In a statement the company said he was resigning with immediate effect. It said the decision was entirely personal and reflected Peacock’s desire to “spend more time with his family”.

Peacock had been with Jones Lang in London for 30 years, and helped mastermind the merger with LaSalle Partners to create the international giant that is JLL today. He will retain a consultancy role with the firm. But already thoughts are turning to his successor.
