RESTON, VA-One Reston Crescent goes from completely empty to completely full with Nextel Communications’ recent 10-year commitment to occupy the entire 185,000-sf, state-of-the-art office building. “We were marketing the building for a single-occupancy tenant under a term of 10 years or longer at the mid-$20s per sf,” Jones Lang LaSalle’s Herb Mansinne tells GlobeSt.com. “And we came very close to that, very, very close.” Jones Lang LaSalle handles leasing activity at the building on behalf of owner Trizec Properties Inc.

Developed in 2000 at 12000 Sunrise Valley Dr., One Reston Crescent sits in the 36-acre Reston Crescent master-planned development in Northern Virginia’s high technology corridor. The six-story, class A office structure represents the first phase of what will ultimately be a 500,000-sf development; two subsequent buildings are planned for the future.
