The seller of 13 of the buildings is Ascension Health Inc. The sellers of the five other buildings are affiliated with MedStar Health and Advocate Health. The properties are located in Tennessee, Arizona, Michigan, Maryland, Illinois and Washington, DC.

Publicly traded Healthcare Realty says the sales are subject to execution of definitive purchase agreements, due diligence and other matters customary to these types of transactions. The company did not provide information on the occupancy of the properties.

The properties being sold by Ascencion are located in Nashville, TN; Tucson, AZ; and Southfield, Madison Heights, and Warren, MI. The properties being sold by MedStar are located in Baltimore and Washington, DC. The property being sold by Advocate is located in Chicago.

Healthcare current portfolio is comprised of 10 major facility types located in 30 states that are operated under contracts with 62 healthcare providers. The company has investments in 220 properties or mortgages totaling approximately 11.6 million sf.
