Two Hotels to Sprout Up in Sterling

STERLING, VA-Those seeking extended-stay options in Loudoun County will get more than 250 new rooms to choose from now that construction on two hotels has gotten under way. Candlewood Suites Hotel and Suburban Extended Stay Hotel will rise up, courtesy of construction services company Hubert Construction Inc. Durham, NC-based the Generation Cos. is behind the development of both properties, which will cost a total of $9.4 million to build.

Candlewood Suites will feature 121 guest suites spread out among its four-story, 63,000-sf structure. The hotel, which will sport the address of 45520 E. Severn Way, will also feature a conference room and an exercise facility. It will be the eighth Candlewood property in Virginia. Suburban Hotel will sit on a parcel adjacent to Candlewood at 45510 E. Severn Way. It will consist of 132 guest rooms and an audio-visual room within a 58,000-sf, five-story building. Both hotels are expected to open their doors to guests this summer.
